📋 About This Mod
Description
This mod adds a dedicated HUD / visor icon for the Exoskiff fishing platform to help bring it in line with other exocrafts available in the game. The custom icon bears resemblance to other basic markers found in the game (ex. used for active starship or player owned base) - white silhouette on semi-transparent dark background.
Because the exoskiff isn't treated by game as an actual vehicle (it uses different entity components), the icon for it behaves differently compared to other exocrafts. Most notably there is an effective distance limit over which the marker will disappear, set to 5000 units. Currently it's unclear whether it's possible to have the icon be always present regardless of distance / position relative to the player.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Simple and effective – no more hunting for your Exoskiff
- Decent download count (7,004) shows it's useful to many
- Lightweight mod that doesn't clutter your UI
⚠️ Cons
- Only 69 endorsements – not a huge community following
- Last updated June 2026 – may not be compatible with future patches

For Starfield players who use the Exoskiff and get tired of losing track of it. If you're a completionist or explorer who relies on vehicles, this is a must-have. Skip if you rarely use the Exoskiff or prefer a minimal HUD.
