📋 About This Mod

Corvettes are awesome; so why are you stuck buying parts every time or grinding for RNG drops? Not anymore.

Corvette Parts Crafting

  • []All corvette parts you find or purchase are now consumables

[]Using one permanently unlocks the crafting recipe for that part (and keeps it in your inventory)

[]When building or editing a corvette, you can use parts from your inventory or craft ones you've already learned. Recipes display in-place just like base building

    Shop Price Adjustments

When building the recipes, I wanted them to be approachable from early game, with many parts costing as little as some copper and a few metal plates. The problem with that is nothing stops you from crafting parts cheap and selling them for millions. That wasn't my design goal.

To close that loop, part prices have been re-balanced:

    • []Base value reduced to 1/20th of vanilla

    • Buy price multiplier set to x20

Purchase prices stay close to vanilla while sell prices drop to the floor, offsetting the cheap crafting costs. A side effect: part prices are now affected by station price fluctuations, so shopping around can actually get you a better deal if you'd rather buy than craft.

      All Parts Now Purchasable

Every corvette part (including Expedition 19 & 20 exclusives) is available in the basic parts shop from the start. No more hunting down specific shops or hoping for stock.

      One important caveat:

The intended experience is: buy a part → learn it → craft it forever. This only works if you don't already know all the parts. By default, the game unlocks the full catalog at the start, so this mod removes that, meaning blueprints must be learned through purchase.

⚠️ For the full intended experience, start a new save. You can use the mod just fine on an existing save, but the blueprint-learning mechanic will be largely pointless since you already know everything. A save editor can also remove known parts if you don't want to start fresh.

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Craftable Corvette Parts turns all corvette parts into consumables that permanently unlock crafting recipes when used, rebalances shop prices to prevent selling exploits, and makes every part purchasable from the start. Designed for No Man's Sky players who want to bypass RNG and craft their dream ships, but it requires a new save for the full blueprint-learning experience.

Part base value reduced to 1/20th of vanilla, with buy price multiplier set to x20.
Every corvette part, including Expedition 19 & 20 exclusives, is available in the basic parts shop from the start.
Removes the default full catalog unlock, so blueprints must be learned through purchase.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • No more RNG grinding for parts—buy once, learn it, craft it forever.
  • Shop price rebalance keeps purchase costs close to vanilla while crushing sell prices, so you can't exploit cheap crafting for millions.
  • All parts, even expedition exclusives, are available from the start—no more hunting specific shops.

⚠️ Cons

  • Blueprint-learning mechanic is largely pointless on existing saves—you'll need a new save for the intended experience.
  • Sell prices drop to the floor, so if you relied on selling spare parts for income, that's gone.
  • Only 89 endorsements—small but dedicated following, so you're on your own for troubleshooting.
🎯 Is This For You?
For No Man's Sky players who are tired of grinding for corvette parts and want a more crafting-focused progression. Perfect for builders who enjoy collecting blueprints and customizing ships without RNG frustration. Skip if you prefer the vanilla economy or don't want to start a new save.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Start a new save to experience the blueprint-learning mechanic fully—existing saves won't get the intended progression.
  • If you're on an existing save, you can still use the mod, but you'll already know all parts, so crafting is available from the get-go.
  • Shop around different space stations—price fluctuations now affect part prices, so you might find better deals.
