📋 About This Mod

Requires JIP  55. 50 and NVSE.

2. 3 Update

Fixed Syntax Error.

Removed Debug prints from the console, no more spam.

It always bothered me how the Player was the only one downing Chems and Stimpaks, tanking bullets left and right.

Now that's changed.

NPCs will now "use" Chems and Stimpaks if their health falls low enough, and will even repair their limbs or cure poison.

the Chems they use are based on if they are carrying them or if they will drop them on death.

The Aid Items they can use are as follows.

Turbo

Healing Poultice

Hydra - if limbs are damaged enough

Super Stimpak

Doctor's Bags - if limbs are damaged enough

Antivenom - if poisoned

Bitter Drink

Healing Powder

Strange Meat

Companions, Creatures, and any NPC that are knocked out will not use Chems or aid items.

The mod will deactivate it's self if any of the player controls are taken away or if the NPC has their combat disabled.

Works with TTW, and should work with NC and Frontier.

Special thanks to Roy for helping me make my script less stupid, for Hitman for making custom animations for me, and for Jazz for being a wizard and making two requested functions for us.

For anyone who curious how the mod works, I basically have a quest script that runs every 5 seconds that checks on any NPCs near the player plus two event handlers scripts that fire during the "OnHit" and "OnStartCombat", depending on several factors they will get a buff that simulates how the Chems work for the player (They will play a sound, an animation, and may even play a line.). None of the NPCs will truly use the items themselves, as a couple of aid items play effects (like Turbo) or use hidden perks (like Psycho and Slasher). Because the effects are separate I am able to rebalance the mod without affecting the items themselves, allowing for compatibility.

Future plans include allowing Companions to "use" Chems, Add more Chems like Steady and HH items, and maybe sacrifice another small child so Jazz will bless me with another new function.

Feel free to share any feedback or ideas.
