📋 About This Mod
OVERVIEW:
This is my attempt on replacing vanilla locomotion (movement) animations in FNV for both 1st and 3rd person, consider this a WIP since some animations need some more tweaking, but im actively working on this project for the past months, the main advantages of this mod over vanilla are:
-
[]Actually looping animations - no frame skipping, other weird jittering
[
]Reduced feet sliding[]All weapon locomotion animations are compatible with any and all weapon animation replacers (there arent many that tackle 3rd person, but there's an option)
[]Reduced blending issues when changing from/to walking/running
[]Fixed (partly, its now only visual) sudden, uncontrollable steps while holding any 1gt weapon (dynamites, grenades etc)
KNOWN ISSUES:
A list of issues that im aware of, yet im still gonna release this XD
-
[]Lack of 2hh group (miniguns). I need to fiddle with it a little more
[]Clipping right hand with holstered 1hp (pistols) when walking. Will check out what i can do about it
[]Lack of PA anims
[]Lack of armor running sounds - will fix it shortly
[]Only for Males

⚠️ Cons
- Beta status means potential bugs or unfinished polish
- Last updated in 2022 — may not be compatible with the latest game patches
For players who want to refresh the default movement feel without overhauling the whole game. If you're tired of vanilla stutter and want smoother locomotion in both views, this is worth a shot. Skip if you prefer gameplay mods over cosmetic animation tweaks.
