📋 About This Mod
Makes the Northwest and Southwest sewers accessible and puts the Sealed Sewer back where it belongs. So now that pool of water behind the door actually makes sense. Also fixes a few gaps and other minor things with those areas.
It's a pity these areas didn't make it unscathed into the final game as they are really quite interesting and different.
Most of the doors still had their intended destinations in their IDs so I just hooked them back up again. Some of them still remain a mystery though. I think the intention was for there to be two keys needed to get into the Sealed Sewer, as the door names suggest Blind Luke and Sweet Jill held the keys, but I can only speculate. It would make more sense if the North door required a different key, perhaps to get out rather than in. Luke and Jill's IDs seem to be closer to the IDs of all the stuff that blocks off these areas. So it looks like they were just cut from here and dumped into their final destination at the same time that these areas got the chop.
I've left the manholes to the surface unconnected as it looks like that was never intented to happen, but I could be wrong of course.
I thought this would have been done before but I couldn't find any other mods that did this, so here it is.
Restores the Northwest and Southwest sewers in Skyrim, making them accessible and relocating the Sealed Sewer to its proper place. Also fixes gaps and minor issues in those areas. A quality-of-life fix for players who noticed the inaccessible sewer doors.

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 2,277 endorsements and 162,784 downloads
- Fixes a long-standing immersion-breaking issue for lore-focused players
- Simple, focused mod that does exactly what it says without bloat
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in June 2024 — may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim updates or DLC
- Only affects two sewer areas — if you're looking for broader city overhauls, this won't cover that
For Skyrim players who hate seeing locked sewer doors and want the world to make logical sense. Also for modders who want a clean base to build upon. Skip if you want major gameplay changes or visual overhauls — this is a small, targeted fix.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2, install this mod and let it overwrite any conflicting files — it's designed to be a simple drop-in.
- Check your load order: place this mod after any mods that alter the same sewer areas to ensure the fixes apply.
- Since it's a miscellaneous fix, you don't need to start a new game — just load your save and the changes should take effect.
