Companions Infinite Ammo version 1. 1 This mod allows companions to use any weapon as a companion weapon, with unlimited ammo. This allows you to freely choose which weapons your companion will use, without having to worry about their ammo supply. The mod does not directly modify companions or weapons, and should be compatible with most other mods, except those that change ammo lists. UPDATE: Added a new item called the \"Companion Ammo Source\". This item is for custom companions (such as companions added by other mods). When equipped, it gives the NPC unlimited ammo. The item is not needed for the default companions (Arcade, Boone, Cass, Lily, Raul, and Veronica), and has no effect if equipped by the player. Also, the format was changed to .esm with optional .esp files. The .esm file enables infinite ammo for the default companions (Arcade, Boone, Cass, Lily, Raul, and Veronica). Two optional .esp files are included. One or both of these may be enabled if desired. CompanionInfAmmoCheat.esp marks the special ammo as playable, so the player can take some to have infinite ammo. CompanionInfAmmoOptional.esp makes the following changes: 1. Changes the BB Gun, unique BB Gun, Alien Blaster, and Fat Man to use an ammo list, so that they can be used as companion weapons. 2. Marks the default companion weapons as playable, so that companion weapons can be downgraded if you so choose. Note that these weapons require special companion ammo, and so cannot be used by the player normally. 3. Adds a briefcase to Goodsprings containing a Companion Ammo Source. The briefcase is next to the gas station, behind the large sign.
