Amata Companion - TTW

The mod still seems stable on TTW 3. 3. 3.

Update 2. 0 has been released!

Using AI voice cloning (thanks to an ElevenLabs subscription) I have successfully replaced all the VAxSynth voice lines included in the mod. And it sounds much better! LOL

I have also used the AI voice cloning to add new lines in both basic voice lines and more idle chatter.

Her introduction quest has also seen a slight revise. Now, once the quest is over, she will immediately follow you. Her home marker will also move to the Megaton Common house so once dismissed she will go there.

No more poor Amata waiting outside the vault for you when dismissed.

I have also released my Mannequin edit version 2. 0 for Amata and it looks so much better in my opinion!

RELATIONSHIP QUEST:

Custom AI lines provided by ThePeskyMolerat. The quest will trigger after successful completion of "The Waters of Life" Quest. Go speak to Amata after this quest is completed to begin it.

Amata has always been an interesting character, your best friend from vault 101. I was quite disappointed to learn that the base game does not support her as a companion. As such, I made this mod which adds her.

This was somewhat requested by a personal friend of mine IRL.

The follower is feature complete and no further updates are planned.

KNOWN ISSUE (POTENTIALLY)

For the mannequin version, I had to generate new facegens for the normal Amata NPCs to avoid the mannequin version having white faces. To do this, the file has to be marked as an ESM. A master.

As such, it takes the position before any other mod in the load order, well it should. So if you download it, you may get a Vortex error regarding cyclic rules because the mod has to be read as follows:

Mannequin Rce.esp

AmataCompanion.esp

But, instead, the load order looks like this:

AmataCompanion.esp (A master file)

Mannequin Rce.esp

If I untick the esm flag and change it back to an esp, the new skin textures do not load and the mannequin versions have lighter skin than Amata is suppose to have.

So, things do work in game. The mannequin version spawns as required and the skin colours are correct. it is just the annoying vortex error popup.

If anyone knows how to handle such an issue, let me know.
