Install Helper gives you clear, in-world feedback:

      The green highlight is strictly vanilla-conform and respects:

      • []install distance/position checks

        []prerequisites (parts that must be installed first)

        []multi-part install logic (arms, spark plugs, pistons, etc.)

        If the game won’t let you install it, the mod won’t show green.

        Performance Friendly

        This mod is designed to be lightweight and vanilla-friendly:

        • []Uses a small, limited ghost pool (configurable via Max Ghosts) instead of spawning endless objects.

          []Runs checks at a controlled update rate and avoids expensive scene scans in normal gameplay.

          []Heavy fallback lookups are throttled/cached to prevent stutters in edge cases.

          []You can reduce workload even further by lowering Range and Max Ghosts.

          Tip: If you want the most "minimal assist" experience, enable

          Only show ready highlight (default green) — it hides the white preview and only shows the green ready feedback.
