Vurt's Morrowind Visual Resurgance, a short explanation of the mod:
This mod will never look as close to the original as for example MET! Why? Because this mods adds a ton of detail which wasn't even there to begin with, while MET is much more subtle with this. I do recommend to have MET installed as a base, because this mod will not cover as many textures, not for a good while at least, or maybe never.
The animations below shows the typical improvement with the mod. Traditional upscaling adds detail, but they do not typically emphasize the material which it is supposed to represent, they're too "dumb" (not trained on enough material of that type), so it doesn't know what to do with the detail apart from trying to enhance it in a more general way. This technique i'm using improves upon that, and instead creates a new image from scratch while also "tracing" the original texture. It also needs a descriptive prompt to generate the new image.
