📋 About This Mod
This is a complementation mod for Kezyma's Voices of Vvardenfell. Without its voice lines, some dialogues won't be voiced because they're not covered by this mod.
How to install
-
[]Install the mod in Mod Organizer;[/]
[]add the folder to Data Directories in the Openmw launcher;[/]
[]enable .bsa archives in Archive Files;[/]
[]make sure you have the Voices of Vvardenfell script enabled. Without it, no voice lines will be played.[/]
It can be used with the vanilla engine, just register .bsa archives in .ini or something. I'm sure you know better than me what to do with Oldwind.
Load order
You can load this higher or lower than the original VoV in the Data Directories. If you load the Extended version lower than the original VoV, Vivec will have a new voice to keep it consistent with other mods that use Morrowind Voice Generator, and some voice lines that lack emotions will have them. If you want to override those lines, load the loose files version and place it lower than Kezyma's VoV in the load order.
I know there's a fully-voiced Vvardenfell mod already but it is big. Like, really big. From what I've seen, it creates voice lines for every race even if they don't have those particular lines. For example, it has Orc voice lines about bonewolves in Skaal village. But there are no Orcs there, so... Oh, and it doesn't voice creatures, unlike this one.
Feedback is appreciated. If you stumble across a broken line, don't hesitate to send me its name that can be found in the logs (press F10). It should look like this:
L@0x1: VoV: Playing Line at Vo\AIV\creature\vivec_god\166552843338625147.mp3
Requirements
Patch for Purists
The voice lines were generated with Morrowind Voice Generator using Omnivoice.

Voices of Vvardenfell Extended adds generated voice lines to Morrowind, complementing Kezyma's Voices of Vvardenfell by covering dialogues the original misses, including creature voices and a consistent Vivec voice. Built for OpenMW users and generated with Morrowind Voice Generator/Omnivoice, it requires the original mod and Patch for Purists.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Fills gaps in the original Voices of Vvardenfell, adding audio for previously silent dialogue.
- Includes creature voices, which the big fully-voiced mod skips.
- Author actively collects feedback via F10 log line names, so broken lines can be fixed.
⚠️ Cons
- Not standalone — requires the original Voices of Vvardenfell and its script to be installed and enabled.
- OpenMW installation has multiple manual steps (Data Directories, BSA enabling); vanilla users get only vague .ini instructions.
- Only 26 endorsements after 266 downloads, so community traction is modest for a niche extension.
For Morrowind players on OpenMW who already run Kezyma's Voices of Vvardenfell and want more complete voice coverage, especially creatures and a consistent Vivec. Also for those who want generated voice lines without the huge fully-voiced mod. Skip if you don't use Voices of Vvardenfell or Patch for Purists.
💡 Beginner Tips
- In OpenMW, add the mod folder to Data Directories and enable the .bsa in Archive Files or the voice lines won't play.
- If you want Vivec's new voice and emotional variants, load this mod lower than the original Voices of Vvardenfell in Data Directories.
- Press F10 in game to get the exact line name from the log if you encounter a broken voice line, then report it to the author.
