Use the propylon indices once

Don't you find it annoying and strange you constantly need to keep the propylon indices in your inventory to use the strongholds' teleporters especially since the indices value 500 septims and Morrowind does not offer the quest-item function like in Oblivion?

Did you already lose a propylon index because you accidentally sold it or got it confiscated by a guard and had to spend a long time to find it back?

Did you fail to find back a propylon index and had to stop your game to find its editor ID?

Do you think Morrowind would be more enjoyable if you only needed to activate a propylon once with its index and could get rid it of the index without any negative consequence?

With this mod you still need to find the indices to use the propylons and teleport to the associated stronghold. The difference is when you'll activate a propylon with the associated index in your inventory you'll get a journal entry explaining you don't need the index any longer. This is it, now you can sell it and keep using the teleporter at will.

As a bonus feature I created a Propylon indices "quest" for every index to help you keep track of those you already used and implicitly those you still have to find.

You need the Tribunal extension to sort your quests by the way.

Installation:

Copy and paste Travel_without_the_propylon_indices_EN.esp in your Morrowind\Data files folder

Activate using Morrowind launcher or preferably a mods manager like Wrye mash

Sort your load order using tools like mlox

Conflicts & incompatibilities:

Any mod affecting the propylons' scripts is incompatible with this one.

Use the propylon indices once is incompatible with the Master index DLC for example.
