The Publicans

The Publicans fixes several places in the vanilla game that were set up like inns (where you can rent rooms), but Bethesda still needed to add the option to rent a room.

Now "new" rooms can be rented at the following places:

• []Darvam Hlaren, Ald'ruhn, Council Club.

  []Trivura Arenim, Ald Velothi, Outpost.

  []Hjotra the Peacock, Dagon Fel, The End of the World Renter Rooms.

  []Fenas Madach, Gnisis, Madach Tradehouse.

  []Thongar, Khuul, Thongar's Tradehouse.

  []Orns Omaren, Molag Mar, St. Veloth's Hostel.

  []Selkirnemus, Molag Mar, The Pilgrim's Rest.

  []Ashumanu Eraishah, Suran, Suran Tradehouse.

  []Helviane Desele, Suran, Desele's House of Earthly Delights.

  []Drarayne Girith, Tel Aruhn, Plot and Plaster.

  In addition to this, the mod comes with the following:

  • []An optional module: Delightful Earthly Delights. This module makes Desele's House of Earthly Delights in Suran a bit more... delightful. Talk to Helviane Desele about "Beds" to partake of the services.

    []A Less Generic NPCs (LGNPC) Patch. This patch makes The Publicans mod fully compatible with the LGNPC project.

    Some more details:

    • []None of the interiors were changed: this mod only makes existing rooms and beds rentable.

      []Each new publican was given some custom vanilla-like dialogue, reflecting their services and surroundings.

      []Some NPCs have been changed to Publican class due to the "Beds" topic (that gives you the option to rent a room) being tied to this class. However, this does not change anything in their functioning.

      []The rent for the new rooms is the usual 10 gold per night.

      • []Copy The Publicans. ESP file into your Morrowind\Data Files folder.

        []If you wish to play with these, do the same for the Delightful Earthly Delights and LGNPC Patch ESP files. Make sure to load the patch after both The Publicans mod and the LGNPC modules.

        []Activate the chosen mods in the Morrowind launcher.
