Quieter Jumping

Does training acrobatics or jumping in general make you look like the cat in the thumbnail?

I very quickly got sick of how loud jumping was for the player, but was surprised a simple volume change mod hadn't been made for it yet. With the skills I learned making my Quieter Thunder mod, I decided to make a mod for this issue as well.

This is my second time ever making a mod for NexusMods.

Alternative option for this mod:

Axemagister's Impact Sounds mod (which improves and diversifies the game's sounds effects while preserving a vanilla feel) has a built in audio slider for both player and NPC footstep sounds which includes jumping. You may want to install that instead of my mod, unless you use OpenMW.

To install:

Method 1 (if using a mod manager): Simply click the "Mod Manager Download" button on the file version you

want and your mod manager should handle the rest.

Method 2 (if not using a mod manager): Paste the contents of the included .zip file into the root of your Morrowind folder and replace the 4 files when prompted to. It may be a good idea to back up your files beforehand, but I included the vanilla files as a separate download in case you forget or don't want to.

To uninstall (if manually installed):

Method 1: Install the Vanilla Jumping Volume (Manually Install Only) file from this mod just as you did with the main file you chose and replace the 4 files when prompted.

Method 2: Restore your backup of the following files.

In \Data Files\Sound\Fx\
