OpenMW Third Person Camera Tweaks

What is this?

OpenMW Third Person Camera Tweaks is a very simple OpenMW modification that simply edits two camera scripts. It does two things:

• []Allows the 360 camera to persist during combat, giving you the opportunity to get a glimpse of your character as you swing.[/]

  []When changing the camera offset in OpenMW Camera settings, these settings don't usually work when swimming, moving the player directly onto the center of the screen instead of your designated offsets. Instead, now it takes your settings into account.[/]

Why?

I love third person cameras. I also like a very consistent, manual camera, that allows me to see the scene surrounding my character in the fullest. If it deviates from my preferred settings, for instance in combat or during swimming, it's rather annoying, at least to me. So I've decided to upload this modification that I've used in countless personal modlists, so that I never have to rewrite it again!..

It only takes about five minutes to do it, but still.

Recommended mod

Dynamic Camera so that you may lock on to targets (otherwise, if you don't use the 'always use best attack' setting, it can be difficult to use different attacks)

Installation instructions (Important!)

After unzipping, simply drop the folders inside of your OpenMW folder (where OpenMW.exe is) - keep in mind it will replace scripts, so you may want to make a backup copy of them if you wish to easily uninstall later. 

Additionally! Make sure you have enabled the 360 camera etc in the in-game script settings so that this can actually function.

Requirements

OpenMW ~v0. 48+. I have only tested it on v0. 51rc2, but I don't believe there are major changes for the camera scripts between 0. 48-0. 51. I may be incorrect, but if this mod doesn't work and you know you've installed it correctly, let me know which version you are on so I can update this description.
