Non-Linear Master Index

Description

This modification changes the way the master index official plugin quest progresses by directing you to all of the propylon indices right away, rather than asking you to get a specific index one at a time. You can turn in as many as you'd like at one time. You will receive your master index once all ten have been collected. Dialogue has been kept as close to the original plugin as possible.

Installation instructions

Simply place the .esp into your data files folder and include it with your data files options. Alternatively, use the vortex app or any other mod manager to install.

Main features

Folms Mirel's quest to retrieve the propylon indices across Vvardenfell has been made to be more user friendly. The primary feature of this mod is that he no longer tells you to collect the indices in a specific order. Now, he tells you where to find all the indices and asks you to bring them to him, paying you the same amount as before. He accepts as many as you bring him at one time and rewards you with the Master Index when you've brought all ten to him.

Additionally, the Master Propylon Index itself has been revamped to be more user friendly. You no longer need to talk to Folms in order to teleport to a stronghold. Now, simply equip the master index from your inventory while in the Caldera Mages Guild to be given a menu to select which stronghold to teleport to. Do the same while in a propylon chamber to teleport back to Caldera. Since it works on equip, you can assign the master index to a hotkey for easy access.

Finally, the propylons in the propylon chambers have been altered to work with the master index the same way as their individual propylon index, rather than taking you back to Caldera. You can use either the master index or their specific propylon index to use the propylons to teleport between strongholds.

Requirements

This modification requires the official plugin, master index, to function properly. It needs to be placed below the master index plugin in the load order in order to function.
