MUTINY - ALTERNATE START

Description:

This mod alters the Character Generation process where instead of going to Seyda Neen the prison ship suffers a mutiny and is rerouted to a location you choose across Vvardenfell, Tomb of the Snow Prince, Tamriel Rebuilt, Project Cyrodiil and Skyrim Home of the Nords. It is a way of alternate stating that tries to avoid as much immersion breaking as possible. It also awards you a small amount of starting gear for certain skills over 35 (weapons and utilities such as alchemy). The main quest can be continued by speaking to Sellus Gravius in the Seyda Neen Census and Excise (there is a journal entry pointing you there along with a note).

There are 47 locations available in the extended version ranging from small villages like Hla Oad or Karthgad to towns such as Roa Dyr or Llothanis to cities like Anvil or Narsis.

Installation:

OpenMW is required

There are two files, YOU ONLY NEED ONE.

The Vanilla file contains Vvardenfell destinations while the expanded includes Vvardenfell along with a Tomb of the Snow Prince Solstheim destination, Tamriel Rebuilt destinations, Project Cyrodiil destinations and Skyrim Home of the Nords destinations.

Just enable whichever .esp you downloaded in the launcher.

Compatibility:

This mod is incompatible with other alternate starts obviously.

The Expanded file uses the Tomb of The Snow Prince location for Solstheim so without it you will randomly teleport to the wilderness or your game will crash.

This mod was made to work with BCOM and the OAAB mods such as Tel Branora Expansion but it should also work with an unmodified Vvardenfell.

Future:

-I intend to fix the Anvil issue in a more immersive way as it is currently sort of plastered over by changing to an interior cell which halts the aggro but this does differentiate it from the rest of the locations possibly to its detriment. I also might make another Anvil start since it is so large.
