📋 About This Mod
A simple mod that makes the various orc Malacath worshippers in the various daedric shrines to Malacath non-hostile after completing Malacath's daedric quest.
Of course, if you want to keep them all alive, you'll still have to run past them to activate the shrine, and later when you return to hand in the quest, they'll still be hostile so you'll need to calm them (I just used "stopcombat" during testing, but I imagine calm humanoid will have the same effect). Or, if you can sneak past them all instead, then when you return to hand in the quest, they'll be fine with you as long as they didn't start combat with you before.
To install, just place the .esp within your Data Files directory of the Morrowind install directory.
As for technical details, what I've done is add every orc malacath worshipper NPC to a hidden faction, and when you kill Farvyn Oreyn, you are added to that faction as the quest updates. The exact moment when you are added to the faction matters, so if you kill Farvyn Oreyn before the quest, it won't work, since my extra line of code only runs when the script updates the quest.
This is another little mod I made because I needed it, and thought I'd share it in case anyone else wants to roleplay as a (likely orc) Malacath worshipper and doesn't want to kill all of the orcs who should be your brethren. This has been cleaned with TESTool.
