📋 About This Mod

Okay, after my first silly experiments on adding basic logic to Morrowind's attributes system, I finally managed to find more or less (I suspect, it's less) balanced solution. Anyway, this game never was about balance, it's about IMMERSION

Health and Magicka regen

First of all, your speed attribute has been renamed to "Vitality". Now it affects not only your, well, speed, but also your health regen.

Magicka regen now affected by Willpower.

How exactly affected? Exponentially. If you want formula - here it is:

HealthPerGameHour = 1/4 (1+1/64)^Vitality

MagickaPerGameHour = 1/4 (1+1/64)^Willpower

As you can see, regen is very slight and noticeable only on high stats. But it's there.

Max Health

Your MaxHealth depends only on your Endurance. Exponentially of course.

MaxHealth = 16 (1+1/64)^Endurance

Which means that if you're playing Breton - your Endurance at the start of the game is 30, and your MaxHealth gonna be 25. Slightly less than vanilla.

If you're playing Nord - your Endurance at the start of the game is 50, and your MaxHealth gonna be 34. Noticeably less than vanilla.

At Endurance 70 your MaxHealth is 47.

At Endurance 90 your MaxHealth is 64.

At Endurance 100 your MaxHealth is 75. A LOT less than typical vanilla player will have at the end of the game. So you can use your potions and enchanted gear, you can play with difficulty slider, or try to use other mods to uncap your max Endurance.

Max Magicka

Your MaxMagicka depends on your Intelligence the same way, plus racial and birthsigns modifiers works as in vanilla:

MaxMagicka = 16 (1+1/64)^Intelligence (1 + RacialModifier + BirthsignModifier)

Which means that Altmer Atronach at Intelligence 100 will have 339 magicka.

Stamina (Or Fatigue if you forgot to install Kobu's mod for some reason)

Since your stamina affects not only hit chance, but also cast chance (and pretty much everything in the game), it would be fair if MaxStamina would depend on both Vitality and Willpower:

MaxStamina = 256 (1+1/64)^((Vitality + Willpower)/2)

It's a lot more than vanilla! But...

Stamina regen is proportional to Stamina itself (not MaxStamina):

StaminaPerGameHour = max(MaxStamina, 4 * Stamina)

MaxStamina term is to prevent regen to stop completely when you reach zero. This means you need drastically more time to rest if you exhausted. If you're carefully watching and managing your Stamina - you'll be fine.

Stamina is not regenerating while you're spending it. (and a couple seconds after that). So it won't regenerate during the fight, and on high stats regen won't compete with draining.

Also your Stamina is soft-capped by your Healt
