Description

All male Argonians used to speak the idle line "Master was right to discipline us. We are foolish." Now only male Argonian slaves will say this.

All Dunmer used to speak the idle lines "Where is that slave? Here not long ago." for female Dunmer and "Where is that slave?" for male Dunmer.

Now most Dunmer will still run this line. The exceptions being:

Census and Excise Office Members

East Empire Company Members

Fighters Guild Members

Hands of Almalexia

Imperial Cult Members

Imperial Knights

Imperial Legion Members

Mages Guild Members

Royal Guards

Talos Cult Members

Temple Members

Members of the Twin Lamps

Installation

Plonk it in Data Files.

Compatibility

I have not altered the vanilla lines so it should be compatible with everything. Any newly added faction will have its Dunmer run the "Where is that slave?" lines. If that wouldn’t make sense lore-wise, let us know.

Cleaned with the CS.

Do what every you like as long as it's for Morrowind.

FMI - NotAllDunmer is a small bug fix mod for Skyrim that improves idle dialogue filtering so not all Dunmer are portrayed as slavers and not all Argonians as slaves. It's a niche lore-friendly tweak for players who want more varied NPC chatter.

✨ Key Features

Filters idle dialogue to reduce stereotyping of Dunmer as slavers and Argonians as slaves.
Lightweight bug fix mod with no new content, just dialogue adjustments.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 1,368 endorsements and over 136k downloads.
  • Fills a niche for lore-sensitive players who want more diverse NPC dialogue.
  • Simple and focused—does one thing and does it well.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2020—may be incompatible with the latest Skyrim version or other dialogue mods.
  • Only affects idle dialogue; doesn't change any quests or deeper lore.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who are tired of every Dunmer sounding like a slaver and every Argonian like a slave. If you're a lore enthusiast or roleplayer who wants more varied NPC chatter, this is a nice touch. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes—this is purely dialogue flavor.
