FMI - Disease Descriptions

I'd like to give thanks to Melchior Dahrk for putting together this comprehensive list of Morrowind inconsistencies, which brought my attention to these issues.

Description

I tackled these inconsistencies in one of three different ways, I either:

1. Changed the dialogue to reference the correct creature(s)

2. Added the disease to the creature mentioned in cases of there being no way to contract the disease in the vanilla game

3. Removed the reference to specific creature(s) in cases of there being no way to contract the disease in the vanilla game. Thus the line remains without creating an inconsistency but still serves to expand the world and help create the idea that there are diseases/things out there that you never even run into while playing.

What follows is a breakdown of what this mod changes.

Ataxia

Vanilla Line

“Ataxia is a mild common disease affecting the victim's strength and dexterity. Symptoms include generalized pain and muscle stiffness. It may be contracted from slaughterfish.”

Ataxia is contracted from the Diseased Alit and Plague Bear but not slaughterfish.

Solution(s)

"Ataxia is a mild common disease affecting the victim's strength and dexterity. Symptoms include generalized pain and muscle stiffness. It may be contracted from Alits."

Vanilla Line

“Brown rot is a mild common disease affecting the victim's strength and behavior. Symptoms include necrosis and sleeplessness. It may be contracted from the bonewalker, skeleton, greater bonewalker, or bonelord.”

Brown rot cannot be contracted from skeletons or bonelords.

Solution(s)

Brown rot is a mild common disease affecting the victim's strength and behavior. Symptoms include necrosis and sleeplessness. It may be contracted from the bonewalker, or greater bonewalker.

Chills

Vanilla Line

“Chills is an extremely dangerous common disease affecting the victim's mind and coordination. Symptoms include clumsiness and mental confusion. It may be contracted from the bonewalker, skeleton, greater bonewalker, or bonelord.”

Chills cannot be contracted from any of these sources, or from anywhere else for that matter.
