📋 About This Mod
Dwarves are among the fiercest warriors in Tamriel; legendary in their skill with the axe and ferocity in battle. Strong in mind and body, they are resistant to both magic and disease, and are not easily tired in their endless quest for blood and treasure. Like a bull in a china shop, the Dwarf warrior muscles his way into battle, this axe clearing a path through his enemies. After battle he uses his Dwarven Armorer Skill to repair his armor and weapons before rushing off to seek new battles. In town the Dwarf warrior drives a hard bargain with the merchants as he barters his hard-fought treasure for new weapons and armor. This is a revisiting of my very first mod: Dwarfs. As my first endeavor it was rather limited [ I couldn\'t even spell the plural of dwarf right ]. The glaring omission from it was the lack of full bearded faces as befitting the Dwarf race. Fortunately, Sirius Snapes and Runi have released several bearded face models that I have used in this mod for the faces of the Morrowind Dwarves. New hair & beard meshes by Mighty Joe Young have been added. I have also added a new birthsign for the Dwarf character: The Arkenstone. This is a male only race as female Dwarves are simply not portrayed in literature and art. Like their language, the females of their race was a closely guarded secret of the Dwarves and not known to outsiders. The Dwarves of lore were known for their skill in smithcraft and stoneworking, for their hearty and stubborn nature, for their unquenchable lust for gold and precious stones, but most of all for their unmatched skill with the axe and ferocity in battle. They were not known for their skills in magic, which they overcame through their affinity for enchanted weapons and armor as well as their natural resistance to magic. I have picked the attributes, skills and abilities that I think best match the Dwarves of lore. The Dwarf race is a balanced race with many advantages, and disadvantages. A Dwarf excels as a warrior-type character, but is a poor choice for a mage-type character. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Version 1. 1 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Added several retextured versions of a new beard/hair model by Mighty Joe Young (MJY) and six unbearded faces to work with the new model. NOTE 1: The bearded faces in Dwarves! do not work well with the beard/hair mesh. NOTE 2: Because the beard/hair models occupies the hair slot if you wear any helmet or helm you will be \"shaved\", i.e. your Dwarf character will be beardless! This will only be noticeable if you are in third-person mode or in the inventory screen. Added several retextured versions of three beard/hair models by MJY that have a unique helms for each attached. The retextures match this mod\'s version of the beard/hair only mesh. These meshes are armor \"wigs\" and will be sold by a unique Dwarf smith added to the game. He may be found working his mine on the road be
