📋 About This Mod
Summary
I never liked the look of the governors manor despite it having a unique design; the textures didn't quite fit with the rest of the town and the interior layout was oddly shaped and mismatched to the outside. So I replaced it with a more imposing castle like appearance and expanded the interior.
The first floor is similar to the original but Cunius Pelalius now has their own office space rather than being sat in the middle of the public through way, and where the opposite of them is now a small Imperial shrine dedicated to Zenithar.
Second floor now contains a dining hall, guest quarters, and a kitchen with the servant quarters attached.
Top floor is Odral Helvi's private quarters, with his drinking lounge, bedroom, and bathroom.
Requirements
Compatibility
-
[]BCOM - If you are using OpenMW then there is a cleanup script that runs once on first entering the manor and fixes the issues, removing the need to use the patch. The replacer Bcom Provides under "Beautiful Cities of Morrowing Patches - 67 Caldera Governor Manor" moves the entire manor out of its original footprint which does maintain compatibility between my mod and BCOM also breaks several mods such as Dras the Dunmer Legionnaire that use the vanilla footprint. I strongly recommend using my original instead, with the TESCMD patch or OpenMW.
[
]TESCMD patchers for BCOM (for Vanilla/MGEXE), Correspondences of Morrowind, and AM - Merged are available under optionals. Run just the ones applicable to your setup.[]Compatible with Holidays Across Tamriel without a patch as of the latest version.
[]Not compatible with The Lost Rooms
- Not compatible with Morrowing Crafting
BCOM - For the kitchen fireplace and shrine exterior.
TRData - the belltower I carved up to make fit, the chimneys, and the stained glass I recoloured.
Rebuilds the interior and exterior of the Caldera governors manor to be more imposing. A visual overhaul for Morrowind players who want a grander seat of power. With 325 endorsements and 64,859 downloads, it's a well-received cosmetic improvement.

💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager, drop the mod into your load order and activate it — Morrowind mods are usually just file placement.
- Check for conflicts with other mods that alter Caldera or the manor's interior, as they may overwrite each other.
- Since the description lacks specifics, test in-game to see if the changes match your expectations.
