📋 About This Mod

A tweaked, upgraded version of original BTB's Equipment, part of his Improvements pack. Most important changes:- Longswords rebalanced to have all three attacks equally viable, but with varying damage.- Daggers remade to be a thrust-only

BTB has done a great, great job adjusting numbers of this game. I wanted to make it even better by adjusting them further. Adjusting 4 life

It's still work in progress, but I'm changing things when I encounter them in game based on how using them feels like, so it's gonna take a while.

So, apart from BTB's own changes mentioned in his own readme (included in the package), these are changes introduced by me:

---- GENERAL EQUIPMENT ----

Glass and Adamantium Equipment:

I reduced prices even more than BTB had. It felt fine to have daedric stuff sold for around 2k, so I took the Glass and Adamantium down to the same level.

Prices are not balanced, just reduced, so if something is still too money-generating, or too cheap, gimme a sign and I'll adjust it. Adjust. Adjusting.

Longswords:

Most of the blades have now equal sum of damage throughout the all three attacks. Chop is the strongest, but needs winding up. Thrust is the weakest, but you can spamclick it and still have decent dmg. Slash is the middle ground between the two. (Chop: 1 to max; Slash: 1+1/3max to 2/3max; Thrust: 1/2max)

Daggers:

Removed chop damage, drastically reduced slash, increased min. dmg from thrust. You don't chop with fucking daggers, at least not your enemies (though it could still be useful in the kitchen, chopping your damn vegetables).

Dwemer Crossbow:

Changed enchant points from 5 to 6, because changing it made me feel all tingly and special.

----- UNIQUES ------

Amulet of Infectious Charm - I have no idea what Charm + Poison was supposed to accomplish in BTB's opinion, especially that it didn't make any sense quest-wise. I restored the original enchantment and adjusted it a bit:

- Charm: 30pts (after BTB),

- Weakness to Common Diseases: 300% with duration of 6000 (instead of 30% for 30s),

- Fatigue Drain: 150 for 360s (instead of 30 or 50p for 30s),

- Endurance Damage: 6pt

- The cost of using reduced drastically.

Now it's really handy and cheap to use, but you are sure to get sick and tired after using it - like a true minor cursed artifact it was supposed to be. Endurance damage shouldn't be a problem to an experienced adventurer. If you are not - suffer. All magic comes with a price, dearie.

Mantle of Woe - don't get me started on BTB's idea of "fine tuning" things by cutting their strengths and flaws alike. My take on this is:

- Fortify Maximum Magicka: 3. 5 (original 5. 0 was a tad too strong imo)

- Fortify Conjuration: 40 (taken down a notch from 50)

- Damage Person
