Backpath Extended

Introduction

Did you kill Vivec before he could give you Wraithguard? Maybe you're the Nerevarine and you found his secret message in the Thirty-six lessons of Vivec. Or maybe you're not the Nerevarine at all, and just have it out for the Tribunal. Regardless of what drives you to kill Vivec, a stranger will be kind enough to point you in the direction of the Last Living Dwarf.

Oh? You've killed the Dwarf now too? You're probably just a bloodthirsty monster at this point, but sure, you can still complete the main quest; just go back and speak with the good Samaritan - she's a big fan of wild cards.

I've always loved the idea of being able to complete the main storyline regardless of if literally everyone has been killed or not, and that's essentially what this does. Now I know what you might be thinking, what if I just killed the kind stranger helping me? Go ahead, try. It is completely impossible to not be able to complete the main quest now regardless of your circumstance.

If you want to explore the backpath, simply kill Vivec (if such a thing is 'simple'). If you want to have even more fun, kill Yagrum Bagarn too.

Compatibility

I only touch the Palace of Vivec, and I put the new NPC into two pretty safe spaces, so it should be compatible with palace mods.

Story-wise, Mephala might have a different tone between this and other quest mods. I made it so that she reacts excited and playfully to the player, as she's very amused with their actions. In my opinion, it makes sense for Daedric Princes to wear different faces or aspects of themselves for different scenarios. I think it makes sense that someone like Mephala could be dark, brooding, and edgy in one story, and then taking nothing seriously in the next, as Daedra often govern more than one sphere or title of being. However, I understand if you disagree and would prefer a more dark tone for uniformity, so consider this a warning.
