Thirty-six

Introduction

This mod adds a quest to a dissident priest in the Holamayan Monastery surrounding the hidden message that can be found in the Thirty-Six Lessons of Vivec. Once the quest is complete, the player can press Vivec, and various members of the Temple with the information.

This opens a unique roleplay opportunity that was previously unexplored despite the message being discoverable. It also keeps with your own player’s background. For instance, if you’ve given your character a backstory that previously led to them finding this message all on their own, you can choose options that declare this to the dissident priest behind the investigation.

If you're going to use this as a justification to kill Vivec and not receive Wraithguard from him, I also recommend pairing this with my other mod Backpath Extended.

You can start the quest by speaking with Derelas Arano in the Holamayan Monastery.

You can quickly run through the quest, in the case for instance where you might have discovered the message yourself, you can immediately say this to Derelas Arano, refuse to help him or not, and immediately begin pressing the Temple Masters, the Archcanon, Almalexia, and Vivec.

Compatibility

This mod was built with compatibility in mind – both technical and in terms of story. You can play this before or after the Main Quest, before or after Tribunal / Tribunal Main Quest Reforged, and before Vivec’s Fate: The Ashlander Heresy (but not after). It works within its own sphere but includes plentiful roleplay opportunities that can match the context of a lot of different possibilities.

I made sure this was compatible with every existing mod that touches Holamayan.
