📋 About This Mod
Legends tell that ash holds its owner's memory. This mod adds different piles ash that can modify your skill levels.
Have you ever thought that ancestor ghosts were useless?
That's because they are.
Other than providing an easy source of ectoplasm, and causing permanent hearing loss with their incessant chanting. the Ancestor Ghosts server no real purpose. This mod changes that. Ancestor ghosts now have a chance to drop a pile of ash on death instead of ectoplasm. Consuming these ashes has a chance to increase your skills based on what kind of ash they dropped. There are three types. Large, Small, And Glowing. Large piles contain the memories of strong warriors. Small piles contain the memories of devious thieves and similar N'wahs. Glowing piles contain the memories and essence of strong and prideful mages.
Placing a pile on the ground and activating it will allow you to consume the ash, and absorb its memories. Doing so will increase your skills by a small randomized amount dependent on the type of ash pile. Consuming the ashes does have its consequences though. Every time you consume ash there is a chance that you will invoke the Ancestor's anger and they will summon a powerful spirit to curse you. This chance increases every time you consume ash until consuming ash will always summon a wrathful spirit. Cauis Cossades has a free sample on his table.
