📋 About This Mod
8 Bit Unsigned sound mod for Morrowind.
This Sound Pack replaces the game’s default sound effects with optimized 8-bit unsigned PCM audio at 44. 1 kHz.
This format is lighter on your system as it will using half the data of standard 16-bit files which means:
Lower CPU usage during gameplay, especially when many sounds play at once.
Reduced memory footprint without breaking audio playback.
These sound files were made using my tool Soundwave Audio Pack:

The 8-bit format reduces audio fidelity compared to 16-bit or higher, which may result in slightly noisier sound effects. However, all key sound details are preserved, making this pack ideal for sound effects in resource constrained environments.

Format: PCM Unsigned 8-bit
Sample Rate: 44,100 Hz
Channels: Mono ( Only covers sound effect files which are normally mono by default )
Tool Used:
FFmpeg for batch conversion

Uninstalling: 🗑️
To remove the mod, use the "Remove Mod" feature in Mod Organizer 2
