Save your progress without going to bed. Press F5 while exploring, or select Save Game in the pause menu, then wait for Game saved.

📦 Installation

• []Install BepInEx and launch the game once, then close it.[/]

  []Keep a separate backup of your save folder before first use.[/]

  []Remove the old Save Anywhere plugin from the active plugins directory if installed.[/]

  []Download QuickSave-1. 0. 0.zip and extract it into the game installation directory, merging the BepInEx folder.[/]

  []Confirm the DLL is at BepInEx/plugins/QuickSave/QuickSave.dll.[/]

  []Launch the game. The configuration file is generated automatically.[/]

  ⚙️ Configuration

  File: BepInEx/config/elsia.quicksave.cfg.

  • []General. Enabled = true: enable the mod.[/]

    []General. ShowPauseButton = true: show Save Game in pause. Disable it to use only the shortcut.[/]

    []Controls. SaveShortcut = F5: change the shortcut, or use None to disable it.[/]

  Settings apply live through supported Mod Menu integration. Close the game before editing the configuration file directly.

  The shortcut is ignored in text fields, popups and supported mod settings panels.

  🔗 Save behavior and limitations

  Quick Save uses the game's native save format and save pipeline, including native backup handling and other mods' serialization hooks. It does not add quick load, periodic autosaving, a save history browser or save repair.

  A brief pause during disk writes is possible.

  Save could not be verified means success was not confirmed; some data may still have been written. Keep the game open and inspect BepInEx/LogOutput.log. The mod does not automatically retry or restore a backup.

  The game writes its two save files separately. Quick Save cannot guarantee recovery from a crash or power loss between those writes, and file verification does not confirm Steam Cloud synchronization.

  Missing required safety APIs disable saving. Loading may apply the game's own position or character-form corrections.

  🔄 Uninstalling

  Close the game and remove BepInEx/plugins/QuickSave. You may keep the generated configuration for later use.

  Saves remain in the native format; content dependencies from other mods still apply.

  🛠️ Troubleshooting

  If saving is unavailable, finish the current action and return to free exploration. Opening pause does not bypass restrictions.

  If F5 does nothing, close text fields and mod panels, check the configured shortcut, and try the visible Save Game button.

  Include your game version, mod version and relevant BepInEx log when reporting a problem.
