📋 About This Mod
The villager page your journal forgot. What they love, what they hate, where they are, and one click to go to them — with margin notes that are affectionate, judgemental, or simply disappointed in you. Part address book, part gossip diary.
☾ SERENA'S LITTLE BLACK BOOK ☽
Names, tastes, and addresses.
The villager page your journal forgot.

⌂ PRESS HOME TO OPEN THE BOOK
No item to find and no menu to dig through.
Press HOME whenever you need a little help keeping track of everyone.
Moonlight Peaks has an almanac for fish, crops, recipes, and nearly everything else in the valley.
Everything, apparently, except the people.
Serena's Little Black Book gives every villager their own handwritten page containing the information your journal should have included:
-
[]Who they are[/]
[]The gifts that actually matter to them[/]
[]Where they are right now[/]
[]A safe way to travel directly to them[/]
[]Everything you have already done with them today[/]
[]When you last interacted with them[/]
[]What you last gave them[/]
[]A pair of suspiciously personal margin notes[/]
It is part address book, part friendship tracker, and part magical gossip diary. 💜
✦ GIFTS THAT ACTUALLY MEAN SOMETHING ✦
Each villager's page displays their most meaningful loved and hated gifts.
It does not bury you beneath hundreds of items that receive the same generic response from everyone. Instead, it looks for the gifts that make that particular villager react differently.
Their real favorites. Their personal disasters. The things worth remembering.
How the gift filtering works
Asking the game for every item a villager technically “likes” produces a nearly useless list. Across the game's 5,206 items, the median villager returns around 1,485 liked gifts because universal reactions are included.
The Little Black Book compares each villager's personal response with the game's universal response. It keeps only the gifts where that villager genuinely reacts differently.
The result is a much smaller and more useful list of meaningful favorites and dislikes.
⌂ FIND THEM — THEN GO TO THEM ⌂
Moonlight Peaks continues simulating villagers even while they are off-screen, so the book can show the room each person is currently occupying.
When you have spent enough time searching cupboards for someone who is apparently at the beach, press the travel button on their page.
The book uses the room's own entrance system rather than dropping you blindly onto the map.
A little safety magic: By default, the book refuses to send you into rooms you have never personally entered. A room may already be visible on your map and still remain unavailable until you have walked inside it at least once. This prevents you from being stranded somewhere you cannot normally enter.
✓ TODAY'S LITTLE CHECKLIST ✓
Every villager page keeps track of what you have already done with them today:
-
[]Talked[/]
[]Given a gift[/]
[]Hugged[/]
[]Played Nokturna[/]
Anything you cannot currently do is crossed out, with a short explanation beside it on the same line.
No more wondering whether you already handed someone a flower at three in the morning. The book remembers.
✎ LAST SEEN & LAST GIFT ✎
The book also shows:
-
[]The most recent day you interacted with each villager[/]
[]The last gift you gave them[/]
Last seen counts any tracked interaction: talking, gifting, hugging, or playing Nokturna.
That record is the book's own doing. The game keeps four daily flags — talked, gifted, hugged, and played — but wipes them at dawn without recording which day they belonged to. The Little Black Book keeps its own diary so that information is not lost.
Last gift comes from the game's existing gift history. The book simply brings the latest one onto the page where you can actually use it.
♡ NOTES IN THE MARGINS ♡
Each page receives two dynamic handwritten notes based on your actual history with that villager.
They are not generic fortunes chosen at random. They react to things such as your recent meetings, forgotten friendships, and qu
