This mod should be compatible with any mod that does not edit item_eng.gmd.

In previous Monster Hunter games every monster carve had a neat little blurb of flavor text, I still remember eagerly reading through the text of materials I carved from monsters the first time I faced them. Fast forward to World, and almost every monster material has the exact same description plus its name. Its honestly so boring I doubt most players even look at the text. Well no more!

Q: So what does this do exactly?

A: Changes the text of monster item descriptions to match older games when possible. For world exclusive monsters, I have added custom, lore friendly descriptions in the style of existing descriptions.

Q: Does this affect game play in any way, shape or form?

A: No. This only changes a bunch of items flavor text. Thats it.

Q: Why did you make this?

A: Because I can.

Installation

1] Install Stracker's Loader here:

-Please make sure you've install this correctly and that the loader is compatible with the latest MHW version before asking about functionality issues here

2] Extract the .zip file.

3] Locate your Monster Hunter World Steam installation folder.

Steam Library -> MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD -> Right-Click in games list -> Properties -> Local Files tab -> Browse local files...

4] Place the "nativePC" folder inside the "Monster Hunter World" Steam folder root that you located in the previous step.
