📋 About This Mod
With Sunbreak, I have made the mod work with Fluffy Manager instead of a direct .pak
There are a couple of reasons for this:
- Patching files into a pak is just kind of annoying, specially when testing since every single change to the mod means I have to repack and manually replace files
- Fluffy Manager is just way more stable and will handle possible incompatibilities with other mods way way better than .pak files
- Fluffy Manager allows for way more comfortable installing and managing for you all, so I think this is better for everyone. If you didn't want this just give Fluffy Manager a try, it's incredibly comfortable to use.
- Whenever the tiniest most minial hotfix is pushed to the game paks break and I have to redo and reupload them. This is annoying for me since I have to redo them and for you since you have to wait for me to do it to redownload it and reinstall. This is the main reason and the reason why I won't be doing any more pak files
Installation:
1. Download the Fluffy Manager from Nexus Mods and extract it in a folder of your choice (from now on I'll call this folder <ManagerPath>)
2. Start Fluffy Manager and make sure it detect Monster Hunter Rise (you may have to manually give it MHR's root path)
3. Download the file you want from here
4. Extract the mod folder you just donwloaded in the path <ManagerPath>\Games\MHRISE\Mods
5. Go to the Fluffy Manager and in Mod List click Refresh Mod List and then toggle the mod from the list.
6. You're ready to go!! Just open the game and the mod should work.
If at any point the mod breaks, send me a DM (unless an issue has been opened, that means someone else did it already, DO NOT SEND ME A DM IF THERE IS AN OPEN ISSUE) since that way I will get notified, I DON'T GET NOTIFIED OF FORUM COMMENTS, if you want me to see that the mod broke, send me a DM.
I will be uploading extensions for other consumables on demand, so if you feel anything is missing please tell me :)

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust with 1,881 endorsements and 65k downloads.
- Elegant approach: modifies item properties instead of clunky scripts, so it feels native.
- Saves you from tedious restocking during hunts—just fire away.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects ammo, not other consumables like potions or coatings.
- May not work with mods that alter item properties or use scripts.
For Sunbreak hunters who are tired of running out of ammo mid-hunt and want a seamless infinite ammo solution. Perfect for bowgunners who want to focus on combat, not inventory management. Skip if you prefer vanilla challenge or use mods that conflict with item property edits.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Place the mod files directly into your Sunbreak game folder, usually under 'nativePC' if you use REFramework.
- If you use a mod manager like Vortex, enable the mod and ensure it loads after any mods that edit item data.
- Test in the training area to confirm ammo is infinite before heading into a hunt.
