📋 About This Mod
This mod extends the iframes to 60 frames (1 second) for every, "dodge step" only, such as dodgebolt, rolling(default dodge), backstep(bow), dual-blades, and so on.
Therefore it does not include iframes like for longsword sheathes. (Sacred Sheathe dodge is affected by the mod)
How to install?
Extract the file and drop it to the base game files.
For example: /steamapps/common/MonsterHunterRise
Make sure to rename the file from, "re_chunk_000.pak.patch_00y.pak" into the next number existing in your files.
For example: If there's an existing file named, "re_chunk_000.pak.patch_001.pak" just rename it to, "re_chunk_000.pak.patch_002.pak" and so on.
After that, boot into the game and enjoy.
How to update existing file?
Just replace the file with the new and updated mod.
I recommend the mod, "Iframe Helper" to compare the changes.
This mod is inspired as an alternative for the first mod created of this type, "Escape Invincible Time Advance". The author hasn't updated it and I promised the others to upload my own edit for this type of situation.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 314 endorsements and over 13k downloads.
- Directly addresses a common frustration: dodges that feel too tight.
- Lightweight and focused—does one thing and does it well.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects dodge iframes; no other gameplay changes.
- Last updated in July 2023, so may not be compatible with newer game versions.
- Potential conflict with other mods that alter dodge mechanics or combat timing.
For players who find the default dodge timing too punishing and want a more forgiving window. Also for those who enjoy tweaking combat feel without overhauling the whole game. Skip if you're looking for major gameplay changes or if you prefer vanilla challenge.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Check if your game version is still supported, as the mod hasn't been updated since mid-2023.
- If you use other combat mods, test them together to ensure dodge timings don't conflict.
- Consider pairing with a difficulty mod if you want to keep challenge while having more forgiving dodges.
