📘 Overview

Chat Commands is a lightweight framework mod that gives

MineMogul a shared in-game command/chat bar for all compatible mods.

Instead of every mod building its own configurable UI when

it might not be needed, mods can register a prefix (for example /mb)

and receive command arguments through a simple API.

Players get one consistent command experience across mods.

This mod also supports curated help output and dynamic autocomplete for integrated mods,

so a mod can keep /help <prefix> clean while still offering generated suggestions at runtime.

🛠️ How To Use it

• []Press Enter to open the command bar, or press / to open with slash prefilled.

  []Use /help to list registered command prefixes.

  []Use /help prefix (example: /help mb) to list commands for that mod.

  []Type a command and press Enter to submit.

  []Use Tab to cycle autocomplete, Space to accept inline suggestion segments.

  []Use Up/Down to cycle previously submitted lines.

          Notes

          Sometimes it can be helpful to make a folder for every mod and its dll. This is because some, including mine, will sometimes create additional directories/files in their home directory.

          If multiple mods make a folder with the same name, there is a chance that parts of some mods may get overwritten or deleted unecessarily.

          📂 Config Files

          If config files are required before starting a game, launch the game once, then close it.

          All config files can then be found in the following location.

            ⚙️ Optional Configuration

            Inside of the config files you will find the following customization features

            • [][ History. MaxLines ] - Maximum number of lines shown in the history overlay

              [][ History. VisibleSeconds ] - How long history stays fully visible after submit

              [][ History. FadeSeconds ] - Fade-out duration for the history overlay

              [][ History. BackgroundAlpha ] - Background opacity for the history area

              🎮 Default Controls

              If this mod has keybinds, they are all configurable in the config file, or via Rebind (if installed) in the keybinds menu.
