MineTogether

MineMogul Together brings co-op multiplayer to MineMogul. One player hosts their world and everyone else joins over Steam, so you can build, mine, and run the factory together in a single shared world. There is no port-forwarding and no IP sharing: joining is as simple as accepting a Steam invite. The host's world is the single source of truth, so ore physics, machines, money, research, and quests all stay in sync for everyone.

This is a public beta. It works well, but things will break, so bug reports are very welcome.

Installation instructions

1. Install BepInEx 5 (x64) into your MineMogul folder, then run the game once so it creates the BepInEx\plugins\ folder.

2. Download the mod zip from the Files tab.

3. Extract it and drop the MineMogulTogetherSteam folder into:

...\steamapps\common\MineMogul\BepInEx\plugins\

4. Launch the game and press F6 to open the Together panel.

To update later, delete the old MineMogulTogetherSteam folder from plugins\ before dropping in the new one.

Main features

- Host-authoritative shared world joined over Steam (Steam Datagram Relay), no port-forwarding

- Join from a Steam invite, the host's profile "Join Game", or by pasting a SteamID

- Live ore physics synced from the host: piles, conveyor belts, thrown and mined ore

- Buildings and machines placed, taken, and packed in sync; machines run and animate for everyone

- Shared economy: shared money, shared research tickets, and shared "For Sale" area unlocks

- Shared quest progress

- Purchased crates anyone can collect, and host-authoritative mining of ore nodes and breakable chunks

- See other players move around as avatars labeled with their Steam name

- Each player keeps their own inventory and tools; only money and research are shared

Requirements

- BepInEx 5 (x64), installed by you into the MineMogul folder (this is what loads the mod)

- Steam running and logged in, on an account that owns MineMogul

- Everyone playing together must be Steam friends

- The Steam overlay should be enabled for the "Invite Friends" button and profile "Join Game" (pasting a SteamID works either way)
