📋 About This Mod
Palicoes from Monster Hunter, now in Mewgenics as custom stray cats with Palico (cat) voices!
Stray Palicoes: Felyne and Melynx
Adds custom stray cats inspired from the Lynians in the Monster Hunter franchise, including their lovable meows and purrs!
Stray Cat 1: Felyne
Simpler design, with the default palico vocalisation.
Stray Cat 2: Melynx
Messier/wilder design, with more guttural/weird palico vocalisation.
This mod does not replace all the stray cats. It does:
- Let there be a chance that your (new) random stray cats has the Felyne or Melynx voice
- Let there be a chance that a special stray cat spawns with the Felyne's or Melynx design + voice
Installation
Download, extract, and then place the "Palicoes" folder into Mewtator's mods folder. Enable within Mewtator, and remember to launch the game from there (or use the same launch options when running from Steam).
Uses .append and .patch, so it shouldn't clash with any other custom cat mods unless they use the same key names.
Uninstallation
To stop them from appearing as strays, just disable within Mewtator. Felynes or Melynxes that are already in your save will not despawn (from my testing).
NOTE: Once you uninstall, any cats that spawned with the voices from this mod will have NO SOUND.
