📋 About This Mod

Standalone Mission 23 female staff farm with 17 randomized hostages and multiple staff-type variants. No Infinite Heaven required.

Description

I prefer playing MGSV:TPP in a standalone environment without relying on Infinite Heaven.

Until now, farming female staff has generally required Infinite Heaven or similar runtime-based modifications.

However, by adjusting the mission Lua setup, it is possible to place additional female hostages directly inside a main mission and move them to the helicopter insertion area.

This mod uses the female hostage already present in Mission 23 as the base and adds 16 additional randomized female hostages.

Due to mission-side limitations, the number of additional hostages that can be added is limited to a maximum of 16.

Together with the mission's original female hostage, this provides a total of 17 female hostages near the helicopter insertion point.

The additional hostages use the same female hostage setup as the original Mission 23 hostage, allowing them to appear with randomized female faces, appearances, and race, and to be extracted and recruited as Mother Base staff.

Their appearance is generated randomly, but this mod only uses the standard female hostage pool available in the game.

Special or unique female faces are not included.

In other words, the mod can generate ordinary female staff corresponding to the standard female hostages that can normally appear in the game, but it does not generate special named characters or unique-face soldiers.

A Mission 24 male hostage version is also available.

The Mission 24 version adds 16 randomized male hostages near the helicopter insertion area.

These additional male hostages use the game's normal male hostage generation system rather than the enemy soldier generation system used for ordinary soldiers encountered in the field.

Their random characteristics therefore follow the randomization available to male hostages in the vanilla game.

However, because this randomization is based on the game's hostage-related generation tables, there is no guarantee that every possible male appearance, face, race, or other variation available somewhere in the game can be generated by this mod.

Multiple races can appear among the generated male hostages, and the system appears capable of producing the major race variations used by ordinary male hostages, although every possible variation has not been individually confirmed.

The staff abilities of the male hostages also depend on the game's hostage-related staff generation behavior.

Hostages use different staff-generation data from ordinary enemy soldiers encountered in the field, so their stat distribution may differ from normal enemy soldiers even when similar staff tendencies are used.

Mission 24 was selected as the basis for the male version because it allows a combined Mission 23 and Mission 24 farming setup to be created.

This makes it possible to use Mission 23 for female staff farming and Mission 24 for male staff farming within the same installed mod.

Mission 24 contains original hostages that are directly involved in the mission objectives.

Their vanilla positions have not been changed.

The additional 16 male hostages are placed separately near the helicopter insertion area.

Because the original Mission 24 mission logic remains active, spending too much time recovering the additional hostages may allow one of the mission targets to die.

If this happens, the mission will fail normally.

Several versions are available, each controlling the general staff ability tendency of the 16 added hostages.

Available variants include Combat, R&D, Base Development, Support, Intel, Medical, and a fully Random version.

The Random version keeps the normal vanilla staff generation behavior and only increases the number of available hostages, making it suitable for players who want staff generated under normal game rules.

Optional Combat skill variants are also available.

These optional files use the Combat staff tendency while assigning one specific Combat-related skill to all 16 added hostages.

Available skill variants include:

  • []Athlete [/]

    []Gunman [/]

    []Quick Draw [/]

    []Climber [/]

    []Savage [/]

    []Tough [/]

    []Fortune [/]

    []Rescue [/]

    []Quick Reload [/]

    []Botanist [/]

Each optional skill file fixes the 16 added hostages to one selected skill only.

The mission's original hostages are not modified by these skill variants.

High S Combat variants are also available as optional files.

These variants are adjusted to favor upper-end vanilla Combat stats by using the highest Combat peak rate found in the vanilla game's staff generation settings.

The highest Combat peak value used by these variants already exists in the vanilla game and does not exceed the game's normal staff-generation paramet
