There's a lot of mods that swap Raiden for a completely different character model, but it's a little weird when you're playing as an anime girl, or Venom Snake, and they're summoning bright blue lightning with their moves. Basically, Universal Character VFX is intended to un-Raiden these effects, as well as some sounds, so that various model mods feel more appropriate.

The mod removes most of Raiden's blue lightning, and also mutes electrical sounds during certain moves and during the Ninja Run. Swords that use lightning effects, like the HF blade, are untouched, and you can also use any sword with no bugs. See images.

It also recolors Raiden's block effect to resemble Sam's and Wolf's blocks better. Which just means it's gone from blue sparks to orange.

The mod does not cover many QTEs, because these are contained in many separate files: their inclusion would drastically increase the size of the mod. I may still cover QTEs one day. At the very least, this mod does cover the unarmed moveset of Armstrong phase 2.
