Since there is already an unarmed combat mod (and it's the 7th most popular MGR mod), it's necessary to compare these mods.

What sets Brawler Raiden apart from Nice Knife?

• []Restored visual effects — most of Nice Knife's attacks have no VFX at all

  []Edited sound effects — blade swishes disabled, kick swishes added, etc.

  []A more curated attack selection — each combo feels distinct and purposeful

  []Deliberate attack types — some moves will slam enemies into the ground, or send them flying

• Awkward pauses eliminated — "cancel windows" have been added to many attacks, allowing for more fluid gameplay

  Unarmed combat is still slow, relative to the vanilla game. You also don't have nearly as much range. Veteran players, consider this a challenge?

  By default, this mod requires you to use the default HF blade. If you don't, VFX will be inconsistent and you'll suddenly be holding a blade during certain attacks. But if you want to make this mod work while using another sword, you can change which sword it uses very easily. The modded sword file is "pl1012.dat", and if you rename it to one of these 6-character IDs, it will take the place of a different sword:
