📋 About This Mod
While starting a new playthrough of LE1, I kept thinking about the textures used in the opening prologue. They're not awful, but it made me wonder what a mod would look like with more 'up-to-date' versions of the textures. This is that mod!
The mod fully replaces the panoramic texture of Earth during the prologue, as well as the planets Jupiter and Neptune. In addition, Earth's appearance in UNC: Rogue VI and the 'Earth' Codex page have been updated to match the new texture replacements. Lastly, a new space 'skybox' texture is included for the Normandy SR-1 Cockpit as the original vanilla texture is kind of jank and now looks much nicer.
I recommend using this mod combined with Planet Pictures for a better experience of our home solar system.
INSTALLATION:
For ME3Tweaks Mod Manager, download via Mod Manager hyperlink. This will add the .mem file to your Batch Installer list and allow you to place it in a Batch List to install alongside other mod packages/texture mods.
For MEM (Mass Effect Modder), extract the . 7z file, and ensure you have the latest version of MEM - then select the file you wish to install.
HOW TO UNINSTALL:
For ME3Tweaks Mod Manager, remove the texture file from your Batch Install list. You will still need to restore the game to vanilla for total removal.
For MEM, vanilla textures will be required. Either back up the original texture files or use the vanilla textures provided (will make them available soon-ish).
