📋 About This Mod
-
[]Keepers will appear on the map and radar while the quest is active, until they are scanned.
[
]This mod also allows to scan all 21 Keepers (even though the quest is completed after scanning 20).SECRET ASSIGNMENT
-
[]It can only be started after scanning all 21 Keepers.
[
]It requires to decode a message from the Keeper scans (which are all recorded in a database in the Codex - to unlock the new codex entries, the mod must be installed while scanning)[]There is a walkthrough on how to activate the assignment under the Forum tab here (heavy spoilers obviously... you should not need this in principle, but if you do, it's there).
[]It is fully optional and will not even appear in the journal unless you choose to pursue it.
[]It is rather on the light & humoristic side of things.
The mod is in English but translations to French, Spanish, German, Polish, Russian and Italian are included.
In any other language, the mod will work perfectly fine but all the text related to the secret assignment will be in English.
If you are feeling supportive, you can buy me a new scanner
INSTALLATION
Install as a DLC mod with ME3Tweaks Mod Manager (must be version 7. 0. 3 at least: older versions do not support DLC mods for LE1)
- []Drag and drop the compressed (. 7z) mod file for Keepers Finders into the Mod manager window, and import it.
-
[]Select the mod in the Mod Manager library list (for LE1) and click "Apply Mod".
Uninstall with ME3Tweaks Mod Manager.
- [
- Find Keepers Finders in the list of installed DLC mods, and disable or delete.
COMPATIBILITY
Starting from v2. 0, this mod requires the LE1 Community Patch (and framework), v2+.
A patch for LE1 Diversification Project (v2+) is included.
There are no compatibility issues with other mods, as far as I am aware.
If you are not using the LE1 Community Patch, you can still download and use Keepers Finders v1. 6. But compatibility patches for this version will no longer be maintained.
SPECIAL THANKS
-
[]It can only be started after scanning all 21 Keepers.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust: 4,410 endorsements and 147,945 downloads.
- Solves the tedious Keeper scanning quest by marking locations directly on the map.
- Adds a bonus secret assignment for extra content.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects the Citadel maps—no changes to other areas or gameplay.
- Requires the Legendary Edition (LE1) specifically; not for the original Mass Effect.
For Mass Effect Legendary Edition players who want to finish the Keeper scanning quest without wandering aimlessly. Also for completionists who enjoy discovering hidden assignments. Skip if you're looking for gameplay overhauls—this is purely a UI convenience mod.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you're playing Mass Effect Legendary Edition, not the original, as this mod is LE1-specific.
- After installing, load a save on the Citadel to see the Keeper markers appear on the map.
- If you're using other UI mods, check for compatibility to avoid conflicts.
