Overview

It was a nice touch for your love interest to come to your rescue in the first part of the Citadel DLC, but what if you're not romancing anyone? What if you romanced someone other than Garrus, Ashley, Kaidan, Tali, or Liara? Then the game gives you Liara, no matter what. Now I'm fond of her, but not all of my Shepards are. This mod will allow you to decide who comes to rescue Shepard, because friends matter too!

Upon installation, you'll be able to pick who you want to show up (out of Garrus, Tali, Ashley, and Kaidan), or have the game figure out who should show up based on who you've taken on the most missions. (For Ashley, Kaidan, and Tali, I suggest using the specific pick option, considering their lack of availability until the latter half/third of the base game gives them a disadvantage.) Dialogue has been edited so that no romantic lines are said, so uninstall this mod if you want your LI to show up and behave as your LI.

(Please note that this mod will not resurrect the dead or add people to your squad that aren't available. If you picked the Garrus option, but he died during the Suicide Mission in 2? The game will give you Liara. Picked Ashley's option, but she joined Hackett's team after the coup and didn't come back on the Normandy? The game will give you Liara.)

This mod will only work with games that are using English-audio (any subtitle/text language should be fine). Due to the subjective nature of the dialogue changes, I will not be able to translate this mod. If you wish to translate it, you may do so as long as appropriate credit is given. Compatibility

• []This mod was built using LE3 Community Patch files, so it's inherently compatible. (The patch itself is not required.)

  []This mod is compatible with my Optional Flirting Mod (this mod overrides 1 of its files, but that's by design).

  []This mod has a compatibility patch for Project Variety.

  • []This mod is NOT compatible with the Citadel DLC portion of the Miranda Mod.

  • []This mod is compatible with most other mods, as far as I'm aware. (Incompatibilities will spring from any mods that affect the first mission in the Citadel DLC starting right after Shepard's fall up to the end of the debrief at the apartment.)

    Installation

    [](Make sure to install all wanted content mods before any texture mods.)

    []Drag and drop the file into the ME3Tweaks Mod Manager and import it

    []Make sure the mod is selected in the mod manager and click apply

    []Pick your preferred option from the Installation Options drop down and make sure any patches you need are applied
