LE1 Diversification Project

LE1 Diversification Project is a large-scale immersive overhaul of the first Mass Effect game. Its goal is to bring every aspect of the world forward to create a greater sense of asset and population diversity that was not possible in the original release of ME1 due to memory limitations. Here are the core features of this mod:

• []Female Turians have been seamlessly integrated throughout the entire game — from the Citadel to Noveria to Pinnacle Station and Uncharted Worlds. They appear across galactic society as civilians, scientists, C-Sec officers, mercs, and more.

  []Increased asset diversity and restoration of cut corners: BioWare reused limited outfits per species and environment due to memory constraints. This mod expands outfit meshes, tints, faces, hairs, and weapon models for far greater visual variety.

  []Breathes more life into the world by adding more NPCs and populating barren areas such as Dr Michel’s clinic and Opold’s shop. Many conversations have had dynamic lighting rebalanced to better fit Legendary Edition’s engine.

  []Rebalanced hub populations to create more lore-accurate gender/species ratios. For instance, half of C-Sec’s humans are now women (none existed in vanilla). There’s also more racial diversity among humans and increased representation for Hanar, Elcor and Volus.

  []Restored cut, unused and bugged content — over 500 lines of dialogue restored, plus missing NPCs, items (such as the Thorian acid mine), and visual details.

  []Miscellaneous improvements such as world beautification, decorative objects, corpses, and POIs to make spaces feel lived-in. Unifies the trilogy aesthetic (ME2/3-style door holograms, Alliance ships, etc.).[/]

  This mod is now feature complete. There are no further major feature updates planned, only smaller content updates.

  For LE2, I highly recommend using Fate of Executor Pallin — a continuity bridge mod developed in collaboration with Team Pyjak that ensures Pallin’s fate in this mod carries forward into LE2, and into either LE3 Diversification Project or Project Variety.
