It took a while but the mod has now finally updated to support the latest game version 0. 8. 050! Hildebolt's custom army returns!

It has become too easy to become manor lord.. As a result..

Hildebolt von Berenreute no longer employs brigands and mercenary armies, he now employs his own militia and his own special troops to fight you off!

This is a difficulty mod, meaning that this will making your game much harder as Hildebolt now employs a massive army with his own troops. You are unlikely to be able to fend him off at first as he will simply overwhelm you.

There are 3 versions of the mod, each with higher difficulty: Standard, Hard and Very Hard. (Hard and Very Hard are located in Optional Files).

Each difficulty brings in new special troops from Hildebolt's own army as well as special troops on the last region claim.

The mod is meant to be played in the "Restoring the peace" scenario or any map with hildebolt in it. True challengers will play this on the "Very Hard" difficulty. Good luck!

The mod can also be played on other scenarios with the adversary settings enabled and him being aggressive.

  My Suggestion

  Play first on the normal difficulty and when it becomes too easy, simply remove the easy difficulty pak file and replace it with a more difficult one to have a constant challenge as you progress in your game. If you're able to beat "Very Hard" difficulty then you're a true manor lord!

  Installation (Steam)

  • []Unzip the archive into your ManorLords installation path -> ManorLords\Content\Paks\~mods (create a ~mods folder if there's no such folder)

    [].pak file needs to be in the ~mods folder.

    []Run the game.

    Installation (Xbox GamePass)

      []Cut the .pak file from ~mods folder and paste it in Paks folder, then delete the ~mods folder
