Bill Has Crippling PTSD

"This shit's getting more like 'Nam every second!" The horrors of the apocalypse are no match for what Bill witnessed during his time in the military. Things got so bad, that it left him with a case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder... A hidden meter tracks Bills current trauma level. As Bills trauma rises, he will experience several effects: • When Bill fires a gun, he may accidentally hurt himself or his teammates. The higher his trauma, the more likely he is to hurt others, as it becomes harder for him to distinguish between survivors, zombies, and the Viet Cong • When Bill reaches severe trauma levels, every kill will grant him an adrenaline boost. The higher his trauma, the longer the boost will last • Bill will periodically speak to let you know how he's feeling. His voice will become angrier, more distressed and more manic as his trauma increases. He may also experience a flashback and speak more military related lines that might be completely irrelevant to the current situation Bills trauma can be increased by killing infected or picking up a weapon that was used during the Vietnam war. Killing an infected with a Vietnam era weapon will increase Bills trauma at a faster rate. When he isn't in combat, Bills trauma will gradually decrease, and it will be reset after reaching a Saferoom.
