📋 About This Mod
============================
Andrew has some big guns and apparently none of the local tailors stock his shirt size. Unfortunately this makes for some ugly clipping around his elbows, especially when leaning against a doorpost (which he does a lot). Since I lack the know-how to fix the models themselves, I switched his body outfit to something that looks similar to the black pourpoint but without the elbows clipping.
Some detail
============================
Because PTF modding cannot remove table rows (that I know of), I couldn't find a reliable way to prevent Andrew from equipping his original black pourpoint by just adding the new garment to his inventory. I had to create a whole new clothing preset incorporating the change and point his inventory to that. The following tables are affected:
-
[]armor2clothing_preset - added a new preset.
[
]soul - changed Andrew's clothing preset id.
============================
PTF mod, so it should be compatible with everything.
Installation
============================
Safe to install or remove whenever. You may need to wait a few in-game days for the change to take effect on an existing save.
This PTF mod fixes elbow clipping on Andrew's outfit by swapping his black pourpoint for a similar garment without the clipping issue. It creates a new clothing preset and updates his inventory reference. Safe to install/remove, compatible with everything, and takes effect after a few in-game days on existing saves.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Fixes an annoying visual bug for a character who leans on doorposts a lot
- 98 endorsements and 4,680 downloads show it's well-received
- PTF mod means it won't conflict with most other mods
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects Andrew's outfit, so it's a very niche fix
- May take a few in-game days for the change to appear on existing saves
- Author admits they couldn't fix the actual model, so it's a workaround
For players who are bothered by Andrew's elbow clipping and want a quick cosmetic fix. If you don't care about that specific detail, you can skip it—it doesn't change gameplay.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a PTF mod, make sure you have the PTF framework installed if required by other mods.
- If you're on an existing save, be patient—the change may take a few in-game days to show.
- You can safely remove the mod anytime without breaking your save.
