📋 About This Mod

Shows nearby enemies on your tablet map — faction emblem for regulars, red skull for bosses. Built for players who are deaf or hard of hearing, to see what they can't hear. Powerful and arguably cheat-like: it reveals enemies through walls

ShowMeTheEnemies

See what you can't hear.

Read this first

This mod is powerful, and you can reasonably call it cheating. It shows enemies through walls, buildings and terrain within 300m of you. It will make raids easier. Nothing about that is hidden or accidental — it is the entire point of the mod.

It exists because a player asked for it. They are hard of hearing, and footsteps and gunfire are how this game tells you an enemy is near. That information simply isn't reaching them. This mod puts it on screen instead.

If you don't need that, you probably shouldn't install this. If you do — or you just want it anyway — it's here, and it works.

What it does

Open your tablet map in a raid. Enemies within range appear at their real positions.

  • []Regular enemies — the icon is their faction emblem (IGC / UICS / VLF), so you can tell who is out there.[/]

    []Bosses — a red skull, regardless of faction. "There is a boss" matters more than which side it belongs to.[/]

    []300m range by default. Enemies beyond that are not shown. The range exists because the point is to replace sound, not to hand you the whole map.[/]

    []Reinforcements that haven't spawned yet are not shown — the game keeps them as hidden actors, and drawing them would be a lie.[/]

    []Press F9 on the map to cycle: everything → bosses only → off. Useful when the map gets busy, or when you want to find a boss without the noise.[/]

    Markers use the game's own marker style and follow map zoom and drag naturally.

    Why there is no on-screen radar

    Two reasons.

    RadarMod already does that. If you want a persistent overlay, use it — building a second one would just be copying someone else's mod, and that's not something I want to do.

    And it isn't actually available here. RadarMod draws through UEVR's own render pipeline. This game never calls ReceiveDrawHUD — I measured it: zero calls in three seconds — so a UE4SS mod has no equivalent path. Anything I built would be a worse imitation, not an alternative.

    So this follows the same design as Show Me The Resources and Show Me The Keys: it lives on the tablet map you already use, costs nothing while the tablet is closed, and stacks with them cleanly.

    Install

    Extract the zip into your game folder so it looks like:

    ...\PROJECT QUARANTINE\Test_C\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\ShowMeTheEnemies\Requires UE4SS. Restart the game afterwards — mods are only loaded at startup.

    To uninstall, delete the folder (or just its enabled.txt).

    ⚙️ Requirements — UE4SS (UE5. 6 build)

    (Only if you didn't install UE4SS)

    This mod needs UE4SS. Since Incursion: Red River runs on Unreal Engine 5. 6, the stable UE4SS release won't load — you need the experimental build. (Big thanks to GU5T4V0X for this setup):

    1. Download UE4SS v3. 0. 1 (base) → copy all files into ...\Test_C\Binaries\Win64

    2. Download the experimental build (this is the one with UE5. 6 support):

    • []Go to the experimental release page[/]

      []Scroll down to Assets and click to expand it[/]

      []Download UE4SS_v3. 0. 1-####.zip (the plain one at the top — not the zDEV / zCustomGameConfigs / zMapGenBP files)[/]

      []Copy all files into the same ...\Win64, overwriting[/]

    (Don't rely on a direct download URL here — the experimental filename changes with every update, so any fixed link eventually 404s. Always grab the current UE4SS_v3. 0. 1-*.zip from the Assets list.)

    3. Create a file override.txt in ...\Win64 containing one line: ./ue4ss

    4. Open ...\Win64\ue4ss\UE4SS-settings.ini and set:

    MajorVersion = 5

    MinorVersion = 6

    ConsoleEnabled = 0

    GuiConsoleEnabled = 0

    GuiConsoleVisible = 0

    5. Drop the ShowMeTheEnemies folder into ...\Win64\ue4ss\Mods

    ✅ Check it worked: after launching, a UE4SS.log file appears inside ...\Win64\ue4ss\ (not the Win64 root).

    ❌ No log file = UE4SS isn't loading — almost always m
