What is Ultra+?

Ultra+ provides comprehensive engine tuning, visual enhancements, and performance balancing to maximize your game experience for as many ranges of hardware as possible.

Support: All support is provided via Discord. We do not provide support on Nexus. There are many people willing to help in Discord.

Updates: Mod updates are provided first via UPM and Discord. Nexus is often out of date.

Feature Requests: Feel free to request features in Discord. We can modify most things in UE games now including some game asset modifications.

Quick Start

• [] Install using Ultra+ Manager (UPM) (recommended) or manual installation

  [] Configure settings using UPM or edit config files

  [] Press F12 in-game to apply settings (disable Steam screenshots if conflicting or change the Apply Settings keybind in UPM)

  [] Load presets: apply uplus_defaults then a quality preset (low/medium/high/veryhigh/epic)

  Manual Installation: Extract the mod files to your game directory.

  Important: Do not use Engine.ini mods with Ultra+ as they will likely cause crashes or visual issues. Ultra+ already includes comprehensive engine optimizations.

  Overview

  U+ for Hogwarts Legacy is an end to end overhaul with significant focus on improving Raytracing visuals and performance. It includes custom RT systems and tuned color grading presets.

  Game Tips

  • [] For RT Skylight to function correctly, dynamic lighting must be enabled. If you experience instability then disable dynamic lighting and RT skylight.

    [] RT Skylight can be very expensive

    [] Dynamic lighting also fixes certain visual bugs in specific game locations and changes RT settings depending on player location and action (such as flying)

    [] For most stable experience - disable dynamic lighting, RT skylight, and RTAllOfTheLights
