📋 About This Mod
Replaces all adult Thestrals, but not offspring (so I can still have some Thestrals in the game). Uses chunk 5654. Only choose one.
The wing feathers don't look stellar when the Thestral is on land, but I did the best I could. T__T Needless to say, there's also some clipping with the rider.
A simple cosmetic mod that replaces Thestrals with a Pegasus model, created by Klitschkat for personal use. With 13 endorsements and 839 downloads, it's a niche choice for players who prefer a mythical horse over the skeletal Thestral. Last updated in August 2024, it offers a straightforward visual swap with no gameplay changes.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Gives Thestrals a friendlier, mythical look
- Simple drop-in replacement, no complex setup
- Small but active community (13 endorsements)
⚠️ Cons
- Only 13 endorsements – not widely tested
- No screenshots or detailed description provided
- May conflict with other creature overhaul mods
For players who find Thestrals creepy and want a more classic fantasy horse. Also for those who enjoy subtle cosmetic tweaks without altering gameplay. Skip if you prefer lore-friendly creatures or want more substantial content.
