The Ominous Armory

, a collection of strange weapons, forgotten tools of war, and questionable artifacts that have somehow found their way into my possession. Where they came from is not important. Who owned them before you is even less important. What matters is that they are here. And they are for sale.

Inside the Armory you will find six new pieces of equipment: the Kusari, Morning Star, Kite Shield, Lance, Trident, and Wukong Staff.

Some are familiar. Some are exotic. Some probably should have remained wherever I found them.

But you did come looking for weapons, didn't you?

Kusari

Ah... an excellent choice for someone who believes a weapon should never quite behave itself.

A chained weapon built around reach, momentum, and the wonderful unpredictability of Half Sword's physics. Swing it, drag it, wrap it around whatever unfortunate soul happens to stand nearby, or simply flail until something stops moving.

Perhaps not.

Very.

Morning Star

A familiar shape with a less familiar temperament.

A weighted head attached by chain, allowing every swing to gather momentum before arriving at its destination with considerably more enthusiasm than your opponent would prefer.

Keep the chain moving, keep your distance, and allow physics to conduct the negotiations.

Do mind where you swing it.

Kite Shield

Not every item in my collection exists solely to ruin someone's afternoon.

The Kite Shield offers proper protection for warriors who prefer keeping their insides on the inside. Its large profile makes it useful for guarding the body while advancing, fighting defensively, or pairing it with another one-handed weapon.

Swords, axes, spears...

Whatever you carry in the other hand is none of my concern.

Though I may have something suitable in the back.

Lance

Distance is a wonderful thing.

Particularly when there is an angry man with a sword standing at the other end of it.

The Lance gives you tremendous reach and is best used for long thrusts, charges, and generally reminding your opponent that getting anywhere near you was their first mistake.

Unreasonable.

Exactly how a proper lance should be.

Trident

Three points.

Because apparently one was not enough.

The Trident provides excellent reach with a wide, unmistakable head. Thrust with it, control space with it, or carry it around while pretending you have dominion over the seas.

I will not judge. I have sold stranger things to stranger people.

Wukong Staff

Now this...

This one traveled far before reaching my little shop.

Inspired by the legendary staff associated with Sun Wukong, it is a long two-handed weapon suited for sweeping attacks, rapid repositioning, wide swings, and keeping several enemies comfortably outside arm's reach. But wait, there's more, this thing is enchanted and imbued with ancient power. to use this power you only have to sacrifice a wee fraction of your soul.

Quick hands can make it dance. Clumsy hands can make everyone in the room duck.

Either way, I get paid.

Step 1: Install the .pak File

Place the downloaded

.pakfile inside your Half Sword Paks folder.

Default location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half Sword\HalfswordUE5\Content\PaksOnce that is done, the Armory's contents are inside the game. GameProgress.sav is also in zip.
