Brought to you by Goro, this weapon pack introduces a meticulously crafted, traditional katana to your arsenal. Featuring a 100% original models not in the base game, made by only the finest, or as fine as you can beon 15 beers, Yapanese Swordsmith, as well as a custom saya (Courtesy of Mitchell Bekke) this blade will scratch that samurai sized itch you've been feeling for a minute. And you'll do it while looking baller as fuck.

 CUSTOMIZATION (Ovrdrth Armory)

This mod is fully integrated and editable right out of the box. Boot up the Ovrdrth Armory to modify your weapon on the fly:

• []Blade Materials: Swap out the steel to match your preferred visual style and combat needs.[/]

KNOWN ISSUES

• []Scabbard Scaling: The scabbard currently does not scale dynamically with the blade. We are aware of this visual bug and are looking into a fix for future patches. For now, standard scaling is recommended to avoid clipping.[/]

UE4SS is REQUIRED for this mod to function. Please ensure you have the latest version of UE4SS installed for Half Sword before proceeding!

INSTALLATION & SETUP GUIDE

Whether you are starting fresh or bringing this blade into your current playthrough, follow the steps below to get the katana working in-game.

CORE INSTALLATION (Required)

• []Download the mod archive and extract the files to any location on your PC.[/]

  []Drag and drop the downloaded

  .pakfile directly into your Half Sword Paks folder.[/]

  []Default Steam Path:

  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half Sword\HalfswordUE5\Content\Paks[/]

 METHOD 1: QUICK SAVE REPLACEMENT

Use this method if you want to use the pre-configured save file included with the mod.

• []Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box, type

  %localappdata%, and press OK.[/]

  []Navigate through the folders to reach your save directory:

  HalfSwordUE5 > Saved > SaveGames[/]

  []Replace the existing

  GameProgress.savfile in that folder with the custom

  GameProgress.savprovided in your extracted download.[/]

  METHOD 2. 1: SAVE EDITTING (CLICK HERE FOR FULL VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS)

  Use this method if you want to inject the katana directly into your current save file without losing your progress.

  1. Pick your UE Save editor of choice, i recomend this one.

  2. Drag in your GameProgress.sav

  3. Navigate to, Root, Properties, PlayerInventory_0

  4. Open WeaponPssports, From here you can replace an existing weapon, or create a new one entirely,

  5. Go to the last weapon in your weapons passports (IE the one with the biggest number from 0- how ever many weapons you have), right click and press duplicate.

  6. Copy the entire contents of Katana.txt under the OVRDRTH folder from the downloaded file.

  7. Expand the number of the weapon you want to replace, click on the OPEN CURLY BRACKET   ( { ) so that the entire thing is selected. and paste in the copied contents of katana.txt.

  ( If you did it right, the name should be Katana. you can view it in the video linked above)

  8. Click save, and replace your current GameProgress.sav file with the one you just editted, make sure the name of the file is 

  GameProgress.sav
